The album project Hey God, Are You Talkin' To Me? began with one song, Improbable People for Impossible Tasks. This was the tune that garnered Moishe Rosen's attention and caused him to fund the album. Hey God... is a collection of early songs Michael and Sally wrote together as they were each exploring their faith, along with one outside cut from friend and fellow-songwriter, Janice Rossine Crawford. The songs range from the tongue-in-cheek Jesus On My Bumper to the passionate, soul-searching What I Thought Was Me. An eclectic collection of thoughts and music that reflect the questions and testimonies of young believers grappling with what it means to truly follow Jesus.
